Gods are real if you believe in them,
but just how much belief does there need exist for gods to roam among us?
How do we know they aren't already there. In the shadows. Walking in human form, unable to be picked out of a crowd?
How do we know anything? What is real, what is not?
I used to believe in nothing. Not a goddamn thing. Until I met a man--or so I thought was a man at the time. An old, forgotten drunk.
Except, he wasn't. He was a god.
He taught me the ways, the world through his eye.
He helped me believe in something greater than myself.

"What Do You Believe In, Shadow?" he asked me.
Faith can be a powerful thing; sometimes even a dangerous thing.
You have to be careful what you believe in you know?
Where you set that power; who takes it, who will fight to get it, you never know how all of that is going to go.
Until you are there, watching it all unfold.
War.
And war always has sides.
Whose side are you on?
What do you believe?
