Heard About Warriors,
Chose By T,
I Questioned, Still Fresh And Loopy,
So I Jotted Down, A Reminder In Ink,
In Case He Showed Again,
Upon My Window Pecking,
"Clink Clink,"
Reminders Of The Yellow Sun Tapping,
Tapping At My Cage's Door.
"What's This Noise?" I Whispered, "Rasping At My Cage's Door--
Only The Yellow Sun And Nothing More."
Ah, Yes, Carefully I Remember This Was A Warning, As Cold As Now In September;
Each Separate Brother Brought Upon To Hear Through The Door.
Eagerly I Wished For Freedom;---Mainly I Had More Stories, Mainly Of A Scorpio
From The Library, I'd Search For Books Of Tomorrow---Tomorrow Stories For The Beloved Red Crown---
For The Fair Maiden Whom The World Crowned Queen---
Pure Greatness Here For Evermore.
And With The Now Opened Yellow Door, We Exited To A World Uncertain
Thrilled Me---Gave Me Shivered Horrors Never Felt Before;
Was It Because I Had Eyes On Me, And A Fast-Beating Heart?
So I Sang, "Where's The Visitor Pecking At My Cage's Door?
Now Free Outside, No Longer Trapped Behind A Cage's Door.
We Are Touring The World, And Nothing More.
However, My Skin Shivered Stronger; I Was Hesitant Still, Until No Longer,
"Yellow Sun," Said I, "Forgive My Rashness;
But When I Was Locked Up, And You Came Singing,
You Shared Stories Of A Great Rapping,
A Man With Lyrics As A Poet,
Then You Opened The Yellow Door,
Chapters Here, And Nothing More.
Into T's World, I Stood There Confused,
Wondering, What's His Master Plan, Did He Dream Dreams No Mortal Man Dare Think Before?
Then The Silence Was Broken, And I Met The Red Crown, She Gave Me A Token,
And The Only Name The Voices Whispered Then, "Queen?"---
And With Echoes, The Raven Above Me Watching, "Unforeseen!"---
Love Forevermore?
Back Inside Then Later At Night I Returned, My Chest Still Burning,
Soon Again I Heard The Tapping Somehow Louder Than Before,
"Of Course," Said I, "Something Pecking At My Window Again;
Let Me Hear, Then, What Is It You Have To Say,
But Empty Noise Only Replied Back,
And I Turned Charcoal Black, And Nothing More!
Then The War Began, Casualties Here And There,
My Revolution,
To Take Over T's World,
Create My Own,
But Selfish Reasons,
Could The Pain, She Bear?
Put The Red Crown Through Hell,
I Should Burn, Might As Well,
Why Would I Put Her Through This Hell.
The Yellow Sun,
Or As Doc Called Him,
The Yellow Bird, Dancing Fancy And Smiling,
But After The War I Turned His Smile Upside Down.
Then I Heard More Pecking, From Above,
What Is It, Now?
Quoth The Raven, "Nevermore."
Shaken By My Actions, In Calm Stillness, Everything Lay Broken,
Why Have You Not Spoken?
"Destruction Is Your Game, Bro," Said He, "What's Coming Now Forth?
Proven Yourself, Are You Happy Now, Mister?
Do You Dance In Disaster?"
No More Singing Of His Songs,
Broke The Yellow Sun,
Quoth The Raven, "Nevermore."
Then I Ran Into You,
Your Return Had Been Sung,
Here Came The Raven,
Once More.
"You Missed Me, Didn't You," Said You To R,
Then I Knew, You Didn't Know Me, Yet,
My Brother Chose You,
And The Yellow Sun Sang With You,
Then When We Spoke,
I Realized What I Had Done.
Once Again, I Was Trying To Be Him,
After All, Good Poets Borrow, Great Poets Steal.
A Lesson Learned From Young,
Time To Fix My Yellow Sun.
Time To Fix My Mistakes,
To Repent,
To Learn,
I Am Rot, Forget Me Not,
Now My Name Is Roman,
And You, Raven, Are Chosen,
For I See The Goodness In Your Heart,
The Will To Fight,
Your Wingspan,
You Soar,
As You Fly Strong,
Forevermore!
