Myth #1: Succubus

Picture
You got a hold of him,
hall of heroes and villains,
tearing hearts and limbs,
a goddess among millions.

Wrapped him in your clutches,
piercing nails,
tell me do you hold grudges?
Are you going to tip our scales?

Caught his attention,
then chased mine,
fast forward to my ascension,
moved thrones to realign.

Fought for you,
tore libraries,
pushed through,
no excuses for primaries.

Reached inside the volcano,
ashes,
brought back my heart,
open casket.

Ran to you,
ran back,
a love eternal?
Heart attack.

Pierced flesh with fire,
ignited chaos inside desire.

More to know you,
plenty best,
but none other,
to rot the rest.

And then it burned,
that candle,
the flame turned,
brain scrambled.

And now return,
a bloody stain,
a man of ash to burn,
will only bring pain.
