I try to understand why you are here,
it is hard to want to pretend you will leave,
because even though your web is weaved,
where there is bad, good is near.

You steal time and rob me moments of peace,
so I leave here a note, hoping you catch on,
I hope to return, so you know I have not withdrawn.

A new year awaits us, a time for change,
I hope good fortune favors us,
this year cannot end sooner,
I do not mean to insult,
you infamous intruder.

I grew tired and I almost lost everyone,
another foolish mistake,
like staring down the bourbon,
a glass of sadness biting at me like a rattlesnake.

I try to be a warrior and fight confusion,
but I cannot muster your strength,
so I take on a sword twice my weight.

I need You, but You already know that,
a simple note, something for you to work at.

The Reputation And Life You've Lived,
It Is Nothing Compared To What I've Built,
Mine Is Starting From The Bottom,

It's Been A While And I Am Missing
Time, Moments, They Are Slipping.
But I Have Left All The Important Ones Written,
Your Work, Your Friends, Your Family: Your System.
